FAQs for digital transfer

How do I get my tapes to you?

Post your tapes and cine films to:- Laundry Media, 38 Croft Road, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, GL53 8LA.,

How long does digital transfer take?

Our digital transfer service takes up to 7-10 working days. This may vary during peak times or if your tape needs some attention.,

Can I send Cine films of any length?

Yes, we can accept any cine film length. Your total cost will vary according to the length of footage

Does your Cine film transfer service include sound?

No it does not.

Will my video tapes be returned?

Yes we return your original tapes in their original condition. We use Royal Mail recorded delivery service to return your tapes.

Can my videos be hosted online?

Yes you they can. We can upload videos to a video hosting platform for you.

Can I order more than one copy of my video tapes?

Yes you can and we advise you to order when you send your original tape. You can then save with our 2nd copy deal.

Will the video quality be ok?

We can't improve what you send us but we will do our best to produce the highest quality digital copy.

Will my videos and cine film be safe?

Your order will be recorded and tracked with a unique order number assigned to you.

Can any tape be copied?

Due to copyright law we cannot copy tapes of copyrighted material such as Hollywood movies or tapes with illegal content.

How do my tapes reach you?

We highly recommend you use a recorded delivery service to send your precious tapes and cine films to us.

WELCOME TO Laundry Media

We convert video tapes into a digital format which can be saved or shared online. Dig out those old video tapes, dust them off and send them over to Laundry Media.

Which ever format you have Video8, Hi8, MiniDV, DV, DVCam, VHS, Betamax, Digi-Beta or Beta-SP (if it's something unusual, call us...) we'll transfer your tapes onto a USB stick, DVD, Hard Drive or host your videos online. Send us your tapes and we'll digitise them and return them back to you.

If you have hours of material that you would like to tidy up, trim or organise we offer a bespoke editing service.
